Luciano is power personified, compared to others who enjoy flaunting their power, Luciano was just content with having power and knew how to use it

I have been waiting for a documentary about Lucky Luciano for years. Thank 💛 you so much for sharing your work about him. He and Meyer are legendary and they deserve much praise imo. Ty again Sir.

$300, 000 back then would have bought at least 150 houses. $6, 000, 000 today might get you 20 houses.

Luciano is considered the father of modern organized crime in the United States for the establishment of the Commission in 1931, after he abolished the boss of bosses title held by Salvatore Maranzano following the Castellammarese War. He was also the first official boss of the modern Genovese crime family.
His friend and fellow gangster Lansky nicknamed him “Lucky” in 1929 after Luciano survived a gangland assassination attempt (Luciano also had a reputation for being lucky at gambling).

I actually admire Luciano. He wasn’t about to be “a crumb”(so Italian) !!! So he was to be the best at what he did. Ambitious, ruthless, unconscionable, BUT the best.

It's crazy how he wanted to forget and be forgotten about his Mafia lifestyle but here we are 2024 learning about his connections between gang ties and mafia influence

Thanks for this video, you have really good content.
I'm from Serbia. Country with rich history and many interesting historical figures and events that happened.
I think that people like Dušan Duško Popov, Dragoljub Draža Mihailović and Željko Ražnatović Arkan will be interesting to your viewers.🙂
