the most realistic thing about this is that the teacher said they take bullying seriously at this school and proceeded to do nothing

"we take bullying serious" the only time you take it serious is when the victim fights back

It’s sadly one of the tactics bullies use. If you defend the bullied kid, you get bullied too. It makes it so no one ever comes to your rescue and more people join in. Absolutely sucks.

Honestly a simple “are you ok” can mean a lot to a depressed person, cuz it shows them that at least someone cares

The fact that people say “rat” and call people “snitches”
When they are literally in high school and not important at all.

"Why do the quiet ones always get picked on?"

Felt that

Feels pretty realistic how the guidance counselor talked about Noah getting bullied as though it was his fault.

I love the subtle detail of the dad saying "luckily you can just block them" showing how hard it can be to find help with cyber bullying.

Basically the message is "kids, take care of each other, bc school won't do shit for you" and like, yeah that's true, I've haven't had a teacher that genuinely cares about me since I was in 3rd grade and it sucks

the best part about this was the accurate portrayal of most adults not doing anything at all to curb the issue

The fact that they included the "snitch" part shows it to be realistic. You can barely say anything without being called a snitch.

For those who feel bullied often and feels like there's nobody to help,
You're never alone.

"we take bullying very seriously"

Good one!

The worst type of bullies are the ones that can recognize other's mistakes and faults but can't recognize their's. They'd watch a movie and when they see the bad guy they boo, they call them an asshole. But when they do the same thing and they get called out for it, they make excuses.

‘’We take bullying very seriously’’
**does absolutely nothing to help**

Honestly that was the most realistic part.

The fact that the "goo" that grows in each person's room, that they are trapped in their own ideas, is what scares the most, since the idea of "drowning" in ideas would be like giving up everything, and ending everything, if you understand me..

"We do not tolerate bullying"

Probably the biggest lie I have ever heard as a kid.

The way people talk on the social media is actually accurate in this animation.
