I've been running a PF1e campaign for the last 6 years. Same campaign, but my players have yet to either get bored, or fail to surprise me with something they've worked out.

thank you for making this video and helping to keep the game alive! it's definitely my favorite system! now, I just need you to make a video showing me how I can go back in time to 2009. that way, I would still have someone to play with.

I'd add one more reason: The (free!) online PFSRD for PF1e. Hands down the best resource I have found in 40 years of TTRPG experience. Its robust hyperlinking, search, and layout features (and also source references) make it invaluable for mid-session look-ups and piecing together what might seem like bloat if it were any other game. And it's a handy companion to the core books for a GM trying to build encounters, settings, or campaigns.

Just bought a 1ed PF core rules book to try because of your channel, excellent videos, thank you!

Pathfinder and the the eternal 3rd edition is my favourite ttrpg.

I have so much content with 3rd ed Ebberon books, 3rd edition Faerun book(best version of that setting in my opinion), pathfinder(Golarion is a great setting), Freeport(green ronin), Southlands(Kobold press) and so much more with adventure paths and other 3rd party content creators.

The system is crunchy, but by god, it's polished, and frankly, it's fun to be able to build almost anything you can imagine.

With pdfs, everything is available to buy forever and that's awesome(although i chase print editions whenever possible). I do dabble in other systems, starting at late in D&D 2nd edition, but honestly, i will likely always be tied to 3rd ed and pathfinder as it's final form as it were 😄

True, pathfinder 1e is the pinnacle of the D20 systems in my mind. Fixes all the issues 3.5 had and feels more satisfying than 5e, which while great for simple and quick games, doesn’t have anything really deep to enjoy, like the magic items. Money feels useless in 5e

Love 1e and having gotten to watch the combination of inquisitor and gunslinger come together toward the end game of Rise has been awesome.

My first group I've put together played Black Fang's Dungeon from the Beginner's Box. Pathfinder 1e has been the first game I've GM'd. It was pretty easy. And the math isn't all that bad. I'm excited for the next session!

The Adventure paths are amazing campaign settings to use in any system.
The books are really well made and detailed.

Started in 5th edition, got into pathfinder because of a group change and that's all I could find. I'm really enjoying. The only downside I've seen so far is there is much more videos on 5th edition. Glad I found this channel

I've been a pf1e player for years now and sort of ignored 2e due to how new it is and the lack of content. I've been wanting to start looking at the system though and a comprehensive pf1 and pf2 comparrison would be great.

I was introduced to Pathfinder 1E over a year ago (I've played other TTRPGs, but not Pathfinder). My gaming group has been running Rise of the Runelords in Roll20 since then, along with a few Pathfinder Society one-shots, and we'll be starting Curse of the Crimson Throne after the current campaign ends. I have to say it's been really fun and I've enjoyed both the system and the adventures with my current gaming group. I like character options and boy, does Pathfinder 1E give you plenty of those!

Excellent insight! I've been playing 1E for years, and am well-invested in materials. And too old to switch!

Hey man, I just wanted to say I love your content man. You help with so much lore and rule questions I always ask and I can't say enough how much I appreciate it. I love PF1e, started ttrpgs with it and honestly don't have a want to change. I even started a whole document of homebrew rules to make it even more fun

My group swaps between d&d 5e and pathfinder 1e depending on who GMs. Both are fun. Though pathfinder is one I’d always want to play ultimately.

Yeah we are still playing PF1. We are currently ending a 2 years long PF1 campaign and, while we may play something else for a while, PF1 will always be an option.
