Hey Nina! Watch out for the gigantic cat behind u! Lol....that book sounds pretty interesting...I don’t read much but this sounds like something I could get into...Aurora sounds very human in this book and it’s nice to be able to get some insight into who Philip is too!

I love that you did another book review and honestly I’ll say it again, you were MADE for this!!! I too have had to read a book out loud to get through it, I did that a few times in A Beast Within. I love Ya but I feel like these are for a much younger audience, despite there being more violence... and apparently Auroras reflection was a hint to suicide if I hear correctly. I am on the fence about that series for sure . I may read one or two Disney twisted tales a year but I don’t think I could enjoy them all the time. I love your transparency as always! Here’s to a great week ahead with more stories to read!

I know I’m late to the game but I wanted to wait until I started/finished reading it to watch your review. I actually really enjoyed this book, I also read “tale as old as time”, “so this is love”, and “a whole new world” and I really enjoyed them all. Maybe I’m biased since I’m enjoying the “series” as a whole though lol. But I really loved how they portrayed maleficent (she felt extra evil and mean, although I wish she had a little more sass) I do agree that giving aurora powers was a bit strange because it would stand to reason that she could just wake up. But I really enjoyed reading it nonetheless. I guess my favorite part was anything including maleficent honestly

These covers are way nicer than the ones that I have.
I like them well enough but I have read better sleeping beauty retellings.

“The best part of the book to me is....The Cover.” Then the look you give...Uh oh!! Not good. Not good at all. I’m like you, I really do not like books that are so patterned &...Obvious I guess. I’ve heard so much about these & have been on the fence of trying them. Especially since I love Fantasy, so...The reviews I’ve heard though, & from People I know like you who’s Reviews I trust far more, I don’t think I’ll be checking any of these out.
