This Is Why The Mythbusters Cast Hate Each Other

Without a doubt, MythBusters was one of the most entertaining science shows on television. The show premiered in 2003 and registered a 14-season-long successful run. Hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, alongside their second team of MythBusters, tested the veracity of scientific various myths and legends. From YouTube videos to big-budget films, everything was put to test and funnily, most of the scientific stuff required the hosts and the build team to blow up a lot of stuff, which the viewers obviously found very entertaining.

Audiences were even more entertained when the experiments did not work out as planned. However, sometimes, the experiments went terribly wrong and even led to life-threatening situations. It was not uncommon for MythBusters fans to run into trouble and blame the show and the show's hosts for their mistakes. This often led to Adam and Jamie drawing the ire of advertisers and viewers. Further, even though all the members of the MythBusters cast were trained professionals, it was not uncommon for them to run into situations they weren't prepared for. Similarly, even though the camaraderie on screen was great, the tension between some cast members was quite palpable off the screen. Adam always makes sure to speak of Jamie with respect and admiration whether he's giving interviews or talks or youtube content and he makes it clear that there wasn't any animosity. He's stated many times that him and Jamie always treated each other with respect and professionalism but that they weren't friends. Just two incompatible personalities with a work relationship based on respect.

Adam Savage answered the question in a video for tested. They did not hate eachother, they simply didn't get along with one another. Adam explained how the two weren't "friends" and how they both had very different personalities. What's important is that they both respected eachother and had a shared interest for the work that they did on the show, that's what drove the show to become the massive success that it is known for today.
