Rollin’ Rascal will bring the fast-paced action of classic Sonic games and mix it with the rich world interactions of Super Mario Bros. in an experience that appeals to classic speedsters while remaining accessible for newcomers to these exciting gameplay genres.

Im seeing alot of indie devs coming up with "sonic-like" games like this- spindashes, weightless air strafes, tons of momentum- I'm really happy to see this type of game in general breathing new life 👏

Seeing the team's growth as artists and designers over the years has been very fulfilling as a viewer, I can't imagine how the team must feel.

Rayman, smashified, and these other little projects have lead up to curiomatic and now this game.

Spark the Electric Jester has been the only 3D Sonic-like I've seen in the indies, though the Toree games have elements of Sonic to them. I know Penny's Big Breakaway is coming from some of the people who did Sonic Mania, and that there are LOADS of great Sonic fangames coming out constantly. But I really do enjoy seeing people come back with original characters so they can push out full blown retail games; if you're talented, go and make money doing what you do and add some fun, new characters to the gaming world! I'm glad Youtube pushed this trailer in front of me and made me aware of it; when you launch, I'm definitely supporting!
