Hogwarts Legacy - Ancient Magic Explained | Details

From the reveal trailer of Hogwarts Legacy we learned about this new "talent" that we posses, which holds the key to unlocking an ancient knowledge. It is the Ancient Magic, an old and mysterious power that has been long gone from this world.
But what exactly is Ancient Magic? Who used it before and how is it going to play out in the storyline of Hogwarts Legacy.
In this video I bring to you my analysis and my explanation of the Ancient Magic and its origins.

Lily Potter knowing ancient magic and how to use it makes sense. Francis, the fish, was also “beautiful magic, wondrous to behold” and it hints that such magic is quite unusual (maybe rare). It’s implied she was young, still a student when she performed the magic that created Francis, but if ancient magic powers can come from strong feelings she was one of the professor’s absolute favourites, and the same could be in reverse. As ancient magic may be long-lasting, Francis only disappeared the day Lily died. Can’t wait for the game to be out!

I just want this to be the type of game where you can truly feel like you have a unique character that you can roleplay each time. I understand the campaign will be the same all the time but it would be cool if they had like side questlines for different classes like how in elder scrolls you have questlines for each guild and you can feel unique through that idk.

My guess is ancient magic is powerful, natural (possibly elemental) and most wizards can't control it and those who can only piercing the surface of it (i.e requiring a sacrifice, etc.) And we're the acception, for some reason.

How cool wouldn't it be if we start at Hogwarts in our fifth year because we attended a different school prior, and had to transfer? From let's say Durmstrang Institute?

Ancient magic seems like a more so old energy that only wizards with a considerably higher affinity for magic than most can use. Since it's a naturally occurring energy found in many things the ones who use it can manipulate it to make things a little better. There would obviously be limits due to the manipulation over control, kinda like diverting a river path where you can turn it but reasonably can't make it go off in the opposite direction of the flow without it just stopping the flow

Harry Potter reminds me of a Dragonborn since he was resistant to Voldemort's magic. Makes sense since we've seen no one using spells against dragons.

I know it's not really mentioned at all in the books or films, but could the ancient magic refer to wandless magic? Like how the students from Uagadou don't require a wand as that's originally a western invention. Thoughts?💛🖤

Look at the source in the article, and you'll see the claws only mentioned in one videogame.
