Carl, I notice that some wheel adapters have a lip around the hub opening and some don't. What are the pros and cons of this if the adapter is a precise fit onto the hub ? Thanks, Ken

very helpful thanks. My oddity was the rear chassis after welding being too offset for appearance to the front. The adapters happen in many unthinkable scenarios.

Can I use 5x100 to 5x112 pattern? Instead of 5x105 to 5x112. Beck have 2017 chevy cruze lt hatchback. And it says I have 5x105 pattern. And my wheels is 5x112.

False info on studs bearing loads!!!!

Theres no need for hub centric spacers when your after market wheels has a bigger bore. And hub centric ring bare no weight on then its just to aid install.
The load from a wheel is transferred to the axle/hub through the friction of the clamped joint, not through the wheel stud. A wheel stud can only bend if the lug nuts are not properly torqued, in which case the wheel is about to fall off, anyway.

The Physics of Keeping the Wheels On

As long as the wheel, hub, and spacer are stiff enough to prevent flexing and loss of clamp force, the cause of most wheel stud failures is under tightened lug nuts (not enough clamping force) or over tightened lug nuts (the stud has been stretched past it's elastic limit, so the clamping force goes away). Therefore,  properly installed wheel spacers are perfectly safe.

It is a pity that such a PROFESSIONAL did not say anything about the impact of spacers on the geometry of the suspension and on the life of the bearings. But I understand that the film is directed to those who have already decided and want to have this product. For Carl, I have a suggestion - make the next movie about the ends of the exhaust pipe. What is important when deciding whether it should be round, square or oval. I wonder how this school did such a specialist ...
