GFD Rapid COVID-19 Self-Test

The Galveston Fire Department is participating in a pilot program with the Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) to train firefighters and City of Galveston employees how to perform a rapid COVID-19 self-test.

The COVID-19 self-test a rapid nasal test, and the results will come back in 15 minutes. GFD is excited to be part of the program and looks forward to keeping the residents and city employees safe.
