Handgun found under body of father after 5 found dead in West Valley City home

Police said a small handgun was discovered under the body of a man inside a West Valley City home where five members of the same family — including three children — were found dead Tuesday.

Families are being murdered by family members all across the country. Unbelievable and especially sad this time of year.

The whole thing is heartbreaking. It's gut wrenching to know the 17 yr old lay in the cold garage wounded for 2-3 days before being found. The cold temps may be why he was still alive. 😢

Police dont have to wait for a search warrant ..they were dispatched for a health check ..the teen laid in the garage for an extra day...that did not help his health fighting a gunshot in the head...so wrong on the p.d. non action right away

People were jumping quick to the conclusion that the teen child in the garage was the culprit. Last night I thought hard about it, and I really believe the Dad shoot his teen son while the son ran away from the Dad.

She is not the only one who said she never met them or talked to them. We are so isolated. Sometimes we think, "No one likes me or cares'', but others are probably thinking that too and if we make a small gesture of dropping off cookies or chatting for a little instead of just saying "Hi" it might make a huge difference.
