Agree with the review ... generally. Very expensive event, especially factoring in the ticket, accommodation, travel, food and drink. too many people, and MCM Comiccon is NOT for people that struggle with crowds. Security staff leave a lot to be desired and general organisation is not so good - for example when the show closes they 'kettle' everybody towards a couple of exits resulting in THOUSANDS of people standing in a queue to leave for at least an hour.

Completely agree with all of your negative points. Even worse, if you went to the earlier MCM in the year it felt pretty much like deja vu - it gives you little reason to want to return as you're essentially just being sold the same old stuff. Personally I don't think there's enough comic based stuff there, and far too many stalls selling literally the same thing (e.g. Funko Pops). And the stall space / walking area felt particularly crammed, especially around the artist alley bit. I spent the day there, and the only thing I spent money on was food and drink.
