2024 Aston Martin Vantage Review: The best sports car around?

Aston Martin is undergoing a period of transition, with the iconic British car manufacturer aiming to take market share from rivals with its updated models. With its new models, Aston Martin is creating driver-focussed cars that are more dynamic to drive, while remaining useable on a daily basis and providing the luxury feel and finish you'd expect from the brand.

This new Aston Martin Vantage has been improved in all areas. It boasts a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine pushing out a massive 656bhp - meaning a 0-62mph time of just 3.5 seconds and top speed of 202mph! The Vantage has been stiffened up to provide better handling and the styling has received sharp upgrades all round - it's wider and more aggressively styled before, with new headlights and vents, bigger exhausts and rear diffuser. The interior has been similarly updated with a high-quality interior that stands up to the best in class. The Porsche 911 Turbo S and Ferrari Roma are very much in the sights of the new Vantage.

Just like getting a pair of posh shoes re-soled, it goes to show that sometimes just taking a quality product and sorting its imperfections can be better than tearing up the rule book and going for something brand-new. I'd go for the Aston over the 911 any day - looks, more exclusive (rarer), performance is good, and British! We should be supporting our own industry, especially now that the infotainment has been finally brought up to date, and it looks awesome - although, I wouldn't go with that silver!

This car is a winner from Aston. The looks ( front / side / back ) is on point for a Coupe. The interior upgrades make it fabulous inside. 656 brake and 202 mph top speed qualifies it in the Super club. As the saying goes " every Supercar is a Coupe but not every Coupe is a Supercar "...this is defo the former based on that. Imagine walking up to this, one would be buzzing on a natural high.
