whats the difference in golf functionality between the epix and the s70? is there any? or is it just the action button?

Thanks for the video! I have the old version of this watch and really like it.. in addition I now use a Fenix 7 for all my golfing! The Apple Watch and the daily charge and bad golf apps.. just didn't do it for me! Go Garmin!

To all the nay-sayers of this great watch (i have it)ive had Garmins for years and still use the s3 and yes battery is still going strong after 10 years getting 5 rounds off one charge. great resale value too.

The subscription is a drag for almost 1k watch. Free GPS and rangefinder works fine . I would love it but a lot cash on a already expensive game

I bought the Garmin S62 golf smartwatch, but when I plug in the connection cable, it keeps asking me to unplug and replug the S62. The setup was an ASUS ROG laptop with Windows 10. Even after unplugging and plugging the cable in again, the device is not recognized, and the S62 keeps spinning. Then I switched to the S70 47mm watch, also on the ASUS ROG, but changed to Windows 11, and the same thing happened! No matter how much I unplug and plug it in, it just keeps spinning. The S62 doesn't work on Windows 10, and the S70 keeps spinning on Windows 11. It seems that it's an issue with ASUS and Windows 10/11 compatibility.

Bought the s70 -this video has been amazing. Unfortunately my home course is not listed on the watch. Will the s70 allow me to create the course (IE) enter the hole#, the par and the length?

how do you feel the size/weight is? seems a touch on the large side

My biggest concern would be the battery life in terms of years. The lithium battery is most likely not replaceable therefore if the watch burns out (or the battery life significantly drops) after say a few years then I'm paying + $200 per year for a watch that I'm going to have to replace. Not great to be honest. I'd want it to last at least 5 years + to make the investment worthwhile.

$699 for the watch and your still have to pay $99/yr for green contours, Thats insane. i'll stick with free The Grint app on my phone lol Its a great looking item but yikes.

Great looking piece with a lot of tech, but that pice tag is just to rich for my blood. I will stick to my Samsung Watch 5 with a golf app.

Garmin should get out of the watch hardware business & port their software to the Apple Watch Ultra.

The benefits of the Apple Watch ecosystem are too attractive. All these Garmin watches as destined to be dead-end niche devices.
