when browsing for books to read, i always look for book reviews. that is why i bring you a reaction to 1 star reviews of my favorite books, and (perhaps) unpopular book opinions that quickly turned into a very chatty video about the books i've read recently and me losing my mind over some of the new book releases of 2022/popular book releases. booktube has buzzed about some of these books… and i've certainly loved them😏 i hope you guys enjoy this one and come out with more books to add to your TBR and some good book recommendations for 2022!

When I see one star reviews on my favorite books, I go thru that person's reviews to see which books they actually liked. Those books are usually books that I gave a one star and I feel vindicated. LOLOLOL

I normally do not give 1 star ratings unless I absolutely loathe the book. I gave only one 1 star rating last year to She Who Became the Sun by Shelley Parker-Chan. Initially, I thought the writing was boring, but I was rooting for the main characters. However, I ended up hating the main characters and did not agree with any of the choices they made towards the end of the book. The saddest thing of all, was that this was one of my most anticipated books for 2021.

I really love Starless Sea, but yeah, you have to put a lot of attention on EVERYTHING. Then It's beautiful when you become part of the story.

When it comes to Middlegame, what I loved most about it was the relationship between Roger and Dodger. That alone would make it more than one star for me. I loved it. However… Klara and The Sun is a book I didn’t like at all. This was an interesting vid to say the least 😅
