I don't care if anyone does ever read this, but I need to get this out of my chest. My dad passed away recently, and this was one of his favourite movies, not only for the music but the values it entailed. This was his favourite scene of them all, and mine as well; not only for the music but for what it entails, with all the knights riding back and Lancelot being the first to arrive. I can't really watch this anymore without shedding some tears, but it fills my heart everytime I hear the music and I think of him. I always liked this movie and this scene; now I'll forever love it, as much as I loved him.

4 points to make.
1) music is epic.
2) this is called loyalty.
3) i love how while they are all like "ok lets do this"...tristan is already half way ready getting his shit prepared.
4) when they join him and arthur has that smile, you know its a "i love you guys" smile.

Best scene in the movie. The Knights realise 2 things. They are free to stay and they are fighting for a greater cause.

There is no better loyalty than the loyalty of brothers in arms.

I love how the people here don't say a word to each other and yet we know exactly what they're thinking. :)

The comraderie in this movie speaks volumes.
And I love the "you thinking what I'm thinking?" Look they all give each other and their bond is so strong no words need to be spoken

Love this film. Sarmatians are my ancestors, and this film managed to show both the Arthurian legend and Sarmatians in the best way possible.

Tristan is the quietest knight. Yet in this particular clip, he's the only one who speaks :D

Horses didn't freak out because of the sound of the drums. They knew that sound means battle nearby, & wanted join it instead of walking away

I absolutely love the costumes on the knights and on the horses so bad ass. The music, loyalty, honor and bravery just gives me chills.

The real heroes were the horses who turned back as soon as they hear the sound of the drums

This is an awesome scene. And there is a lot to this scene imo, not just loyalty and bravery. This also illustrates a life of someone (man or horse) who knows nothing but war. Romans took them while they were just kids and for 15 years they just lived war. And obviously fighting side-by-side with someone for 15 years, it's probably even closer then brotherhood.

Recently lost my beloved mother to cancer. She's never watched this, but she bought the DVD for me when I was eight. She's known my taste better than anybody. I grew up with dreams of becoming a knight with high virtues - values the film entailed. Knew that I'd face struggles and turmoils in the future. This was my battle. Now even if I feel terrible with all those confusing emotions in my chest, and even if I cannot sleep in my bed with some damn peace, I know something. "But with this title comes a sacred responsibility to protect, to defend, to value their lives above your own, and should they perish in battle, to live your life gloriously in honor of their memory." I have one choice, which is to live my life gloriously in honor of her memory. Peace.
