I'm 21yo. I look really young and I'm enthusiastic/energic/expressive, which is why people always think I'm aroung the age of 15. This and sometimes my parents' view on me and the lack of interaction with people my own age caused me to take the easier way and live practically like a child still. I just gave up on becoming an adult, because people would see me as a child regardless - and thus, I acted accordingly.

But lately, I've been wanting to feel like an adult more. Feel like the age I am. Sure, it's a carefree life sometimes, living immaturely, but it's NOT GOOD. I won't have a succesful future that way. This video will definitely help me focus and work on the right things. THANK YOU. And wish everyone who struggles with the same things good luck. ❤✨

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my YouTube channel 6 months ago about self development. Now I have 581 subs and > 100 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

I’ve got my own advice about becoming a mature person. Cut the bs and look in the mirror and take responsibility for your own words and actions. Immature people can’t do that

17. Go where the wind takes you. It's a much more enjoyable journey - and you're able to act on the chances life throws you - instead of losing those opportunities, because you're too focused
on "your goals";
16. It's useless to persist in doing things that clearly don't work out for you. There are many other things you can do - and you'll find out what you like and what you're actually good at. The key thing is - you're probably good at the thing that you really like;
15. Yeah - being "responsible" is really the fun thing to do. Think of that on your death bed - when you recollect all the things you never did - and regret it;
14. Become a sheep - a grey being. Someone who never expresses any opinion, either because they're too afraid to or because they completely lack an opinion. Those were the people who made fascism possible;
13. Confidence has nothing to do with maturity. It is the logical consequence of being able to *do* things. It doesn't matter whether other people believe in you. It doesn't matter whether you believe in you. It is the certainty you have in your ability to perform a certain action;
12. Don't listen. Test anything you hear or read for yourself. Learning is *experiencing* things - not taking things for granted. No matter how skilled or experienced a person seems, he can always be wrong. So apply rather than accept. Mature people don't play. Playing is childlike - and the way we learn. That's why grownups cease to play - they cease to learn. And remember - anecdotal evidence is no evidence at all. That's a scientific principle;
10. Negative people can bare faults in a system or argument. It's very short sighted and immature to ignore them. Some criticism can be justified. Think independently - ignore trends;
9. Be your number one. There are plenty of people out there waiting for you to surrender your resources without reciprocation;
8. Everybody is dealt a different set of cards. It's your responsibility to play the best game with the cards you're dealt. That goes for everyone;
6. Letting things happen makes life much more interesting - even if they become more difficult. Define your own level of acceptable chaos;
5. Yes, to be surrounded by boring people is really a thing to strive for. They make life so exciting;
2. Control is an illusion. Accept it. Even self-control is an illusion;
1. Life isn't a competition. You're playing for your own fun - not somebody elses. Nobody is buried with a trophy and got something out of it.

My goal in life is to follow the Lord. I am not going to focus on the worldly things in life, I follow the one true God 😊

A few more things that I think could help:

- Write down the little improvements you'll make and promise yourself that fron then on, you'll keep doing that
- Be a better (grand)son/(grand)daughter/sibling, family is important
- Be trustworthy, don't break your promises
- If you seek to do some mind relaxing thing, do something like a sport or a hobby that requires skill and instead of watching useless content, try watching more informative videos that interest you

I think maturity is when a person doesn’t try to make their religion become a part of someone else’s lives ❤

dont accept all of this reason,
just make your own,
its okey to be imature sometimes have fun just be reaponsible to others,
act respectfull to your self and others dont act and show your a boring and old, slow,
smile enjoy life donf keep all your money spend some of it,
dont act and show you are perfect its all in your mind other person can see your body every motion you does but you see your self only in your mind and in the mirror,
live the life you want just keep yourself alive and dont ruin others life,
find person like you and be friend with them, you will showcase your life with them or choose to live privitely.

If there is more than two levels of maturity [then just mature and immature], there would be somewhat (mature or immature) and neither.

In other words, I am neither mature nor immature.

Id say mature people can handle negativity ... not "avoid negativity". To me there are so much negatives in life if you cant handle it then you arent emotionally mature.

Like you cant listen to peoples struggles AND avoid negativity. You literally cant empathize if thts the case

All of the points in this video are volatile, not concrete. This comes off as a video that’s attempting to make you more agreeable as opposed to mature.
