New Intros and Studio for German ZDF Heute News

On July 19th german public broadcaster unveiled a new look. It's an update of the previous virtual set design albeit from a now smaller studio.

I love how they kept the “heute” in morse code in the sound design. You can hear it weaved in, just as the clock strikes 18:59:59. This element used to be much more prominent in years gone by, I’m glad they are still doing it today.

0:26 The camera movement at the beginning sadly failed the first time; obviosly the robot did not work and it was manually controlled. From the second broadcast on it ran correctly.

El "heute sound", el escritorio con detalles en madera y un amplio estudio. Esas eran las características de ZDF. Una lástima la reducción de tamaño. Eso sí, los nuevos gráficos son un gran upgrade.

Got a new "studio", logo, graphics package and still a green screen?! Personally I hate it when news programs use green screens for the main studio, it looks cheap and outdated.

Also the music became bad because they removed the morse code thing sound

I think ZDF is being lazy.. They could really do their studio without the green screen.. And it makes it worst when they show it off, which makes the news cast look like smoke and mirrors, and cheap

The studio looks horrible … like a basement or something … very cheep and lazy
American news studios & The french ones are very pretty.
