Good advice. People afraid of commitment or being held to a promise are afraid to say yes. Asking a "no" question gains the same information without trapping the one answering.

It’s very very good advice. People say no a helluva lot more than they say yes. No is a protective word. Some people say no off the jump even if they plan on saying yes. It’s to protect yourself and give urself enough time to think through whatever.

I read the book. Maybe I need more practice but absolutely none of this works on my wife. If I ask her if it's a bad time to talk, she'll just tell me everything she's doing. She doesn't give yes or no answers.
