Easy Way To Learn The 9 Times Multiplication Table-Math Trick

In this video, I show you an EASY way to learn the 9 times multiplication table. It is a math trick and simply involves writing the numbers 0-9 twice. If you write the sequence of numbers twice in the way that I show you in the video, you will have formed the answers for the 9 times multiplication table for the first 10 numbers.

btw u can do any 9 through 10 multiplication like this

9x5 for example, take ur 5th finger and put it down. now your first four fingers are up, the other 5 are up, meaning the answer is 45.
9x6, 6th finger down, now i have 5 fingers up on the left 4 on the right. so its 54.
works all 9x1 - 9x10

Thank you for sharing this. Please consider also sharing the Make10 method for calculating the 9-multiples. It’s so fast that students no longer need to memorize the 9s; nor do they need to make a table when all they need is a specific answer. Please use any or all this info. Not trying to start a channel or sell anything - just share this method.

The calculation is fast for three reasons:
1) One number stays in the brain’s ‘register’ for both steps.
2) The first step is a count back (minus 1). Most students know how to do a countdown from 10. They don’t do it by subtracting 1 each time. They just know what comes next.
3) Seconds step is Make10. In the example above we added 6 to 4 to Make10. After K and 1st graders learn Make10, they do not do it by going through an equation. They fill the 'space' between the starting number and 10. The mind snaps forward to 10.

Another way: 9x7 7-1=6, so digit in tens place will be 6. What + 6 = 9? 3+6=9 So, digit in ones place will be 3.
9X7=63
Look all the way down that page. In all the answers through 9X10, if you add the two factors together, the answer is nine.
(18 > 1+8=9, 27 > 2+7=9 and so on)
