Have you ever received a friend request on Facebook from someone you don't know, or maybe you've noticed suspicious activity on your account? It's possible that you're dealing with a fake Facebook account. In this video, we'll show you how to reveal a fake Facebook account and what you can do about it.
1. Open your web browser.
2. Login with your Facebook registered email and password.
3. Let’s assume that you want to connect with someone on Facebook.
4. Click in the Facebook search bar, type a name of a person, and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
5. Only for your education purposes, I am scrolling through some Facebook profiles, and going to right-click on this profile.
6. Now, click on the open link in the new tab option.
7. If you receive a friend request from an unknown person, then first thing first you should go through the profiles of a requester.
8. Check carefully the details on the About page, like Overview, Work and Education, Places details, Contact and basic info, family and relationship, etc.
9. Also check who are his/her friends. Are there any of your common friends? Has he many friends local or global?
10. If you feel that a person is not reliable then click on the three horizontal dots of the menu at the right side of the Menu list on his or her Facebook profile.
11. Click on the Block from the drop-down list and block him.
12. If you think a person is real then you can accept the request, and after that, within a week or so if you feel that a newly connected person is not right then you can block him anytime.
13. You can also check the consistency of posts of a new friend and what kinds of he or she posts on Facebook.
14. Is he tagged by other his friends or what kinds of comments does he do on a post?
15. Even you can ask some questions and message him, why he wants to connect with you.
And there you have it, a few methods you can use to reveal a fake Facebook account.

This is sound advice for people who put all of their information out there. However for people who want to remain more discreet, you could never tell the difference. Not everyone wants to announce their residential location due to stalking. Not everybody wants to reveal their age, weight and height due to fraud or inpersonation. So this does not help for the most part. Also, an individual may want to set up a fake account under their real name, posting whatever to catch a stalker or other criminals. This is another example of why employers should not be judgemental about social media. This is why I could never understand jobs that discriminate against individuals over social media.

Block him? I take offence to that, what about the thousands of so called ladies that end up ask for card or bitcoins, like one that requested friendship and we end up playing her like a fiddle! In fact it clearly says on my profile I’m a relationship! But that didn’t stop her, so there was nothing on TV it was raining my girl and
I laying in bed and my girlfriend played along, in fact she was the one chatting with her. We had a great laugh at her expense, guess what she wanted, bitcoins for pizza and coke and a bunch of other stuff she said it was going toward and wanted it NOW, she say I need it she said I want it now. So it’s not all men .don’t put all men in that bag! Just say scammers or whatever. So now we play along and waste there time.
