I bought my parents the AX5120G as a gift a few months back, and they are loving it. It sounds amazingly high quality, so much so, that I got a little envious of their system. I ended up tossing out my JBL soundbar, and bought the big boy Hisense U5120GW. Holy geezzz that bar sounds phenomenal! Rich sound, deep bass and detailed highs. ATMOS is on point! These Hisense bars have really stepped up their game, because they definitely compete with the big names.

I got this sounbar like 2 weeks ago, it's impressive!! It's noticeable when you hear 5.1 content, like surround test on YouTube, and Dolby Atmos content (like Netflix, Disney+), the uprising speakers work really fine.

Suggestion to the person who made this video, place the sound bar at the edge of your forniture, you want I'll avoid having a lluthe bounce of the sound coming from the sounbar, you will notice a more clear voice coming, about the surround speakers try to place something below to have a higher height, this will help the surround sound overall.

wow 130 dollars wow I got one Few days ago 2.21.24 at Walmart, for my home office with a 55 inch 4k But I paid 240 dollars.. But I like it the rear speakers . EARC is great and Atmos

I ordered one yesterday from Walmart and it will come tomorrow. I hope it is as good as some of the reviews say it is. I am hooking it up to a Hisense 55in TV so it should be really easy . That 55in Hisense TV by the way is a really great tv for the price. I bought it almost a year ago for $280 ! It has a great picture and all the apps work great but the built in speakers are not very good . This soundbar will hopefully solve that issue. I did not get a Black Friday deal on it and paid $249 . I don't care about that . I just want really good sound from the tv. If it is as good as I hear it is then it was a deal anyway. Cheers.

The G model is for 2023 model year adding Atmos and EARC, the model before this only had ARC and did not have Atmos

I was in the same situation as you, I had a Sony 5.1 surround system which was around 14 years old, I also took the plunge and purchased the Hisence AX5100G from Amazon.

I have connected this to my Hisence TV. The sound is good, I have found a few issues with mine, even though I have connected to eARC, sometimes when I turn on my TV the soundbar comes on but there is no sound, I either have to switch off the soundbar or scroll through the sound setings on the soundbar and then it comes on.

The other thing I noticed is, if I have the sound setting on the TV to Pass Through the Dolby Atmos features come on as you have described, but the sound is quite dull, on PCM the sound sounds okay.

I also noticed, when switching on my TV it never says eARC it always says ARC. TV and soundbar are connected to eARC ports.

If you have any advice for the sound settings, please do share. Mnay thanks.

Does with wireless speakers go into rest mode when the bar is turned off? Or does it stay powered on?

I have read in many comments that the rear speakers are either not very strong or that they make a strange sound most they say one static sound on rear speakers.did you have the same issue?

Price isn't this cheap anymore but found it on ebay for $180, total $200 with tax and free shipping.
