You know what, even if I never do 10% of what you're showing on this channel, seeing these techniques opens up the mind to new ways of thinking about problems and how to tackle them. That's invaluable, regardless of what your job is.

Thank you for saying all this in a 2 min video. So many other channels would drag this out for 15 minutes.

You are of the old school who knew a lot about everything or almost everything thanks for your videos.
You remind me of my dad who grew up in the depression and had done many jobs ... farmer, auto mechanic, carpenter, machinist, retired as an electronics engineer.
I miss him

I work regularly with 9/16 and 7/16 6x36 cable with the Oilfield equipment I work on. I carry a smaller Starret-Morse on my work truck at all times. Keep it sharp and with just a few thwacks with my 8lb sledge it will cut the cable like butter. Great tool and 100% worth it

It is good to see someone "rehead" a hammer the correct way.

You should be very proud of the ethic and tradition of ingenuity that you are passing on in this new forum. The wealth of knowledge from across the past to the present day tips on how to get it done are priceless. Keep up the good work and I'll keep soak'n it up and pass'n it on.

I am in awe at the moment you come on with a new video and how much I want to know the right way to do exactly what you’re teaching. You are my mentor since I lost my dad, and it’s like you picked up where he had to leave off, don’t ever stop I beg you...and by the way, thank you!

The cloud of sparks coming out of that thing is impressive.

If you're swingin' the short handled sledge, you know you've graduated to full on grunt work. 😀👍

I have one of those. I use it to cut aircraft cable. Very very clean cuts! I cut much thinner 1/8” and 1/16” cable 👍

I was wondering what the heck that thing was. I picked one up somewhere along my life and I figured it was for cutting rebar, but never tried it. Thanks for the demo.

A tornado ripped through my yard and took out 60 trees. I’ve got a skid steer, chain, cable, and too much ambition. Would love to see you talk about breaking down a tree, pulling it out of the woods, etc...
