Hijab is not banned in India but only in schools and colleges. Where uniform is must. Uniform is to bring unity. Hijab creates a difference among students

Now Court's order is clear . Not only you lost the case but also you have to save your face now . 2 options with you . Follow proper dress code or go to schools where all these are allowed .

For NDTV Hijab is progressive. To go to school and college is Muslim woman's prerogative. Whether uniform or not is school's prerogative. Unfortunately many people tried to reform Hindu societies, but none tried to reform Muslim societies. When the court declared Sabarimala should allow woman of any age, none of the NGOs questioned why not Mosques in general. A sheer bias by NDTV and ilk. Everyone knows what a wiseman chooses if given option between restriction and education. If this girl wants to choose otherway round, it clearly shows that religion is above all to her. Then, let be it, she has no right on what rules can a school adapt to. Anyway, it is the problem of Muslim society, I wish it is resolved by not going to courts. If put in courts, it ill eventually end up with Uniform Civil Code one day. If that's the ultimate goal, the society is misguided. Freedom to practice religion has also its limits.

A good and coordinative decision by the HC of Karnataka uniformity should be the first preference

It's a friggin educational institute, not a fancy dress competition or fashion show where anyone can dress around like a penguin and do what they please. There are rules there. Why can't these people follow the rules of the countries in which they are living, for once? It's the same case whether it's Europe, North America or India. So typical of them

If girls want education and a piece of cloth on their head, ,,why can't government allow that? Though it proclaimed beti bachao Beti padhao....
Why bindi, mangalsutra, pagdi allowed?
CBSE has no problems...why states have ?

We will nt go to college unless we wear hijab. These girls are literally mad. They should focus on getting an education first.

What are we trying to achieve here after the verdict is out ? The legal recourse is to appeal to SC. Again repeating what has been repeated is waste of time.
