My thoughts: if a game can be forcibly removed from your library then you should get automatically refunded all purchases tied to that game(base, DLC, cosmetics, etc...)

Fun Fact. Ever since the 1970s even with physical media you only bought a License to play. If they revoked the license you legally couldnt play it anymore. They just had no real means to enforce it, so this never was used but it was in every EULA.

Same EULA also said you couldnt reproduce it, but we know how effective that was me artys.

With digital medium it can happen as they just push a button and access to the games no longer available, especially any game that requires you to login to a server to play.

The biggest problem is the license itself.
The rules tied to it are insane.

You buy a COPY of a product not rights to IP. But the owner is basically acting like you are a convicted criminal and they are preventing you from doing what you want with the copy...

I find it truly disturbing. Can you imagine buying a car (copy of the original product) and the dealership goes like you can borrow, rent or sell this van ... It is not rare even to forbid screenshot or video capture...
