In my last video you will have seen I was sent to hospital with a suspected Heart Attack. The hospital performed an ECG, blood tests and a chest scan on me. My hospital results came back and there was some good news, however there was also some BAD NEWS. Quite frightening what they found, however I am staying positive.

A quick, accurate diagnosis and prompt action can make all the difference in getting you sorted, Lee. As you get better, the one thing you will be much more aware of is your own mortality and just how precious life really is. I think you did exactly the right thing by not scouring the internet about your condition - just listen to your doctors! Make a swift recovery and take stock of what’s really important - life just wouldn’t be the same without you and you vlogs! 😊👍

Hey Lee, take care of yourself mate!
I know you had the jabs-a friend of mine his uncle was all fine as soon as he had his 2nd jab he had the same symptoms/diagnosis as you!
And now he is going to get compensation.

Hi Lee, hope you’re getting better. I’m an Airline pilot and I flew with another pilot who experienced exactly the same thing after a long haul flight to Goa. He had a blood clot in his lung the size of an orange and displayed exactly the same symptoms as you did. He has now made a full recovery as I am sure you will. He is adamant that the cause was dvt which ended up in his lung, he moves around constantly during his flights now and as an extra precaution takes a 75mg aspirin before every flight.
Get well soon!

Get well soon. I had similar in 2015. NHS were brilliant. I had a bilateral pulmonary embolism and a lung infection. Two weeks in hospital but released fully fit.

As someone who has had 2 episodes of DVT and PE’s in the past, I know how scary having blood clots can be. It sounds like you are getting excellent care and they will likely have you on the correct blood thinners for at least 3-6 months to allow the clot to dissolve, and prevent more. The fact you do a lot of flying, they may make it lifelong but that’s easy enough to deal with now they have alternatives to warfarin. Just do whatever they say, take it very easy for now, and I’m sure you’ll be feeling better in no time at all. Take care x
