Learning to Kayak on the Lower Green

On the 5th day of our Introduction to Whitewater Kayaking course, six students and two instructors set out on our final training exercise: Paddle the Lower Green River from Fishtop Access to a nameless take-out upstream of Green River Cove. It was a fun and exciting paddle, and my first time paddling a river in a hardshell kayak. After 4 days of instruction at the US National Whitewater Center, we were all ready for the challenge. Thanks to James, Adra, Pat, and all the fellow students for making it a fun and productive week! I learned a ton and I'll definitely be back for more. We missed you, Shafali!
