0:42 That HAIYAN VOLCANO 🌋 EXPLOSION THOOO ...definitely was missing the impact sound effect you guys had introduced in 2020 😮😮😮 but I'm genuine here when I say will we see another tropical cyclone with appearance as Haiyan did a decade ago?? I don't think we will see anything for atleast another 20 years

Exactly 10 yrs ago as well i remember we were holding a dinner altogether in our house the night of Nov 7th while also observing the situation via local media information. we just don't have enough idea of what will going to happen, we were just watching and observing. then in the afternoon of Nov 8th, i was staring towards the dark sky and everything is so quiet, yet Manila was raised to signal #2 at that time. no rains, light winds and the sky is envelope with darkness.

I strongly believe that this storm reached more than 195mph. Love the collision effect.

Haiyan/Yolanda remains one of the worst typhoons and TCs recorded in recent memory... However, over the years, people compare other storms to Haiyan. Out of them all, Rai/Odette I would say is the closest with not only a similar track, but also its destruction within similar areas to Haiyan/Yolanda... Haiyan, along with Manuel and Ingrid from the EPAC and ATL, Phailin from the NIO, and Oswald from AUST, as well as Fitow, Usagi, and Utor from WPAC, are the main highlights of 2013. However, out of them all, Haiyan easily took the cake, due to the very nature of its destruction, intensity, and its impacts even from beyond its retirement. The other storms mentioned were notable for other reasons but not on a scale like Haiyan's...

5 category 5 landfalls? Yolanda: All Philippine landfalls. Irma: Barbuda, Virgin Islands, Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Cuba.

Theres no doubt that Yolanda remains the strongest storm on earth in winds. JTWC with no doubt had underrated that monster. 10 years ago when I filmed and measured Yolanda directly. My Kestrel measured at least 878.5hpa and a peak torblnadic gust of around 405kph when it passed over my now a metropolis, Ormoc City Leyte. Sadly that device was destroyed after it flew off my gate. My mistake was I forgot to upload that data. So now we are stuck with the "Official estimate" of 895hpa and 315kph which is a bit too weak.

Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda). Arguably one of the worst typhoons for the Philippines, if not THE worst. This animation marks 10 years since this deadly and devastating event. I believe the Philippines are still recovering?

The craziest part of this typhoon is that we don't really know how strong it really is

205mph… man I literally learn more and more about this storm everyday. This and only Patricia have done this so this is just insane. So it’s been 10 years so let’s commemorate this event and remember all this who lost their lives from this storm
