I think the key to what happened is in the name of the SCP. The definition of jetsam is "material or goods that have been thrown overboard from a ship and washed ashore, especially material that has been discarded to lighten the vessel." I would say this implies the first bunch of people voluntarily sacrificed themselves hoping the rest would still make it to presumably earth in their slow, likely multi-generational spaceship, which was damaged somehow. It seems it was all in vain tho...

So far we've got-
A: Some fanatical monks
Æ: Some really REALLY bad traffic
B: Some aliens who tried to become immortal but doomed themselves to becoming a mold hivemind
C: A real estate agency that flips haunted houses
D: A phantom bug infestation
E: An eternal paradise afterlife that eventually becomes a boring hell
F: A radioactive dream man
G: An alternate reality that gets destroyed by a gigantic fatass eating a burger
Ȝ: A bunch of people go nuts over some sneezing
H: Phantom Illnesses aka "I diagnose you with dead."
I: An anesthetic that allows for more successful surgeries, but makes the pain worse
J: Some Spaceship Wreckage

since the Earth's population has been destroyed multiple times at this point(SCP-2000), i would assume this is an ark from a former human population to survive some sort of K class even that reshapes earth geographically, afterward it is supposed to repopulate the Earth, instead the ark fails to return so SCP-2000 activate to repopulate humanity without them

One of the "old-school" style SCPs - you have more questions at the end of it, than at the start. Short and puzzling.

The condition of the first group of bodies makes me think they may have been in some sort of stasis for the journey. They're all calm, clean and in perfect health, have their belongings with them but no food or medical supplies, implying they didn't need any. If the first group had been a voluntary sacrifice, you would expect them to show some signs of distress, even if they had eventually accepted their fate.

Maybe most of the passengers of that ark were frozen in time, intended to stay that way until they arrived to their new home, but the disaster that struck the ship prompted the crew to make a dire decision and jettison part of their passengers in the hope that a reduced load would allow them to get the rest to safety. Then as their situation continued to degrade, they woke up whoever was still on board so they could help, or maybe the systems keeping them in stasis simply failed.

Evidently, their supplies were never meant to support such a population for very long, as they would have been expected to start producing their own food shortly after arrival. So as they continued living in cramped quarters on a ship that was falling apart, sickness and starvation spread through the population, killing them in droves until the ship finally shattered, leaving a trail of wreckage and dead bodies as the last remnants drifted through space.

Hmm. The first group was in the Ort Cloud and seemed to have been (willingly) ejected after the ship was damaged. The other bodies and ship wreckage was found further away (.5 to 1.4 light years). That ship wasn't heading *to* Earth, it was heading AWAY from Earth. sm

This is just your standard SCP without the addendums and exploration logs

Very much feels like earthlings trying to leave a previous K-class scenario that was resolved with SCP-2000. They encountered some sort of blow out in the propulsion system in the Oort Cloud and some sacrificed themselves in an effort to give the others a chance, only for them all to eventually succumb to the consequences of the damage in the end.

Feels weird to have a SCP video shorter than 10 minutes

Something that's absolutely baffling about how impressive this ABCs proyect is, is how every video still has it's own original script written by you, instead of just being a narration of the article

I think the most terrifying part of this story is that there are many things unsaid that derive from the details given.
I would say that this vessel was headed away from earth when looking at how the debris trail is described. It traveled at sub-light speed so it would've taken decades to reach the Oort cloud.
Then the accident happened, a few cryo sleep passengers get blown out and the survivors had to get along.
Which they did, again for a very long time. Half a light year takes aaaages. Then things started to go wrong, slowly but surely. For another full light year. That's like forever.

Space travel is a dream that lives within the minds of all of mankind. The possibilities of discoveries and achievements are endless… but also is the possibility of disaster and death.

Wasn't the destroyed ship found farther away from Earth than the others? It seems like whatever caused the damage in the Oort Cloud resulted in a significant number of people being voluntarily ejected out of the ship, maybe to help conserve supplies, but after that happened it seems the ship turned around and started hearing back to where it came from. Either that, or it had traveled through our solar system and possibly even passed by Earth while heading to the other end of the solar system, only for this whole disaster to occur. But that would be weird, unless they weren't here for Earth at all.

It may be possible the Earth in the SCP universe was terraformed and humans originated elsewhere.
