Personally, I don’t like where manufacturers are going with these thin headlights. It has no style, I prefer the headlights on the older model Y

You can only order the Launch Edition right now for the new Model Y, non-launch edition will probably be available in a few months. You can still order the old version as well. I will definitely be ordering one in a few months. I'll probably miss out on the launch edition, but that is ok

Just got approved and leased my first Tesla yesterday. Older 2025 Y starts at $300/month and newer one starts at $600. So from that perspective, I'm getting the older 2025 delivered this Monday. Newer one looks cooler, but financially this made a lot more sense to me.

I am pretty sure the 4.1s 0-60 is based on the acceleration boost coming standard with the Launch Edition.

in my opinion, the old model y looked like a futuristic car, the new model y looks like a parody of a futuristic car. Though I'm just glad that there's gonna be a lot of the used models of the previous design going on the market for cheaper prices

6:11 I think the speed they’re saying includes the acceleration booster as on the older version. It was 4.2 seconds and now it’s 4.1.

Bought the model Y last month with the deals they had going - 0% APR, 3 months free FSD and supercharging. Got one with 271 miles demo car that slashed $3500 off in addition to the referral discount. I love it so far and hoping to keep this one for a while. Your videos have helped me immensely in choosing the model Y. The new model Y looks slicker for sure.

With the $15k+ price difference between old and new Model Y, def. worth it

No shifter is a big no from me. I don't know who started that trend to make the shifter be in weird locations, just put it accessible to the driver. On screen is also not good user experience if you are parking in a spot going back and forth. The idea is the car can do a lot of it for you, but i don't always need the car to do it for me, and out of all the buttons and levers, the shifter is pretty often used. IDK if Im just getting old but I prefer to have a little more tractile control lol

im not fully sold on it, the front and back are angular yet the body is round. The door handle still has that cheap tetris shape to it to remind you how lazy tesla is in redesigning the entire car. Battery is ok... until i found that the Zeekr change from 10 to 80% in 10 minutes. So where are the major improvements because I don't think its in the looks department lol. I almost wished they woud have just redesign a bigger model 3 for for the Y and using the same design features

For me the Model 3 and Y prior to the refresh has been a no go because of the seats. But, I sat in a Model 3 refresh the other day and the seats were actually really comfortable! They fixed all my issues with the previous generation seats killing my lower back.
