Twitter is not well suited for rational debate to begin with, whatever the field.
Its format encourages oversimplifications and catchy slogans by design. It's hard to convey a complex or nuanced argument on Twitter, and even if you do, the inherent mechanics of the platform will not promote it. It turns debates into "soundbite battles".
Do doctors, lawyers, physicists seriously discuss their professional matters on Twitter? Frankly I haven't checked, but I sure hope they don't, and don't believe they would have had much better results if they did.

I actually see the same thing, in responses to your shorts, people really harshly trying to discount the theme of the video. The worst among them was about there being a lot of jobs. Which is ironic because if there are no jobs, the fuck are you doing subscribed to this channel???
