JVC RC-550JW Boombox Fix and Bluetooth Mod

This is a JVC RC-550 AKA El Diablo. Its silver painted metal, as well as plastic parts, were damaged by its age.

There are 2 types of idea regarding restoring the vintage items especially its outside looks. One, replacing the broken/damaged parts. Tow, fix, clean, and polish it to keep the all original parts. Of these two options, I prefer the latter to the former. In this video, I polished them as much as I could and the result was outstanding.

Holy cow I bet that thing sounds pretty good. I saw the big woofer and tweeter and thought that smallest grill was a microphone.... Three way speaker system? NICE! Real dynamic ones, none of that crappy piezo disk garbage. A real keeper.

I have one of these in home in pristine conditions....my dad (rip) my dad bought it early in the 80's...is a gem for me now...i wouldn't sell it not even for a million dollars...

How much do an average restoration/repair cost, I know that it depends on many conditions, but as an average generally(ballpark figure)? I'm asking because that's a beautiful job you're doing.
