Highclere Castle - The Real Downton Abbey

The British television series Downton Abbey created a legion of fans eager to see where their favorite fictional Edwardians lived. The estate used in the series is Highclere Castle located about fifty-five miles southwest of London near the town of Newberry. The series ended in 2015, but a feature film released in 2019 has kept interested high and kept thousands of visitors from touring the Castle each year.
