V-Ray 5 is the successor to V-Ray NEXT (4). It is currently in public beta which means anyone that owns V-Ray NEXT can download and try the new version. You can easily revert back to NEXT if you wish. If you purchase V-Ray NEXT after September 1, 2020, you will get a free upgrade when V-Ray 5 is released.
