I had seen the story of the young girl holding the doll and the doll had turned to face her. The story I remember is that the girl had got it as a quinceanera gift as is tradition. It is the last doll she will have as a child since the quinceanera is suppose to celebrate becoming a woman. The dolls are usually suppose to be dressed similar to them and even look like them. The girl was stating that she was a little disappointed because she didn't think the doll was all that pretty. After she said that is when the doll turned to look at her as if understanding what she said.
