HOW TO CLIMB MOUNT ERCIYES (3917m) 🇹🇷

Planning on climbing the majestic volcano Mount Erciyes/Erciyes Dagi on your own? No guide, no nothing. This video will show you what the hike looks like in summer (be aware that the landscape can change drastically in a few days) and everything you need to consider before going.

Then you follow the path until you are on the ridge and go along it until arou d 3700m. Then you take a detour to your left around a huge rockface and then climb up loose rock until the main peak. The view from the top on Central Anatolia and Cappadocia is stunning!

Going down is faster when you slide down on the snow fields but it is dangerous if you are not experienced in it and don't have crampons with you. (Alex slid down hundreds of meters and cut her fingers open)
You take the same way down and plunge for a few minutes at the ice-cold mountain lake.

I just found your video randomly talking to my friend about the mount erciyes because thats where my partents are from and how beatiful the mountain looks. Thats really impressive what you two did there. You deserve alot more subscribers.
