I just used that integration wire you suggested and it works great! (92 corvette) I actually realized too, once I had both the fuse panel and plastic under panel removed I was able to fairly easily fish out BOTH the cables that plug in to the connector as well as the antenna cable shown @11:11 in the video. This allowed me to just leave the CDM Tuner where it is and not have to deal with the removal clips and upside down time. I removed the all the old bose speakers and amps, and put 2 central amps in for the system so I didnt need the RCA inputs for my new head unit. I'm sure the new RCAs would have integrated with the old speakers but I had 2 dead amps in the rear and 1 in the front that was on its way out. I put the Kenwood DMX4707S in and didn't recieve a SYS message with everything hooked up, sure if that Sony thing? Next step is putting in a toggle switch in somewhere for antenna so it isn't always up when the car is on. Thanks again!

The 12 volt yellow preset memory wire on the head unit did you directly wire it up with the acc 12 volt wire to ignition or did you run that wire to a different power source?

The connectors that plug into the factory radio have been cut off of mine. Will this need to be repaired or does the new harness plug into different connectors at the tuner?

I see you have the SYS message -as do I after doing an install. Have you figured out how to get rid of that?

I have a c4 corvette doesnt have factory radio in tho has a aftermarket single din and it is mounted a whole other way and im not sure how they did it lol

That's why you repair the factory radio. The more you muck with all that old plastic and break open that old dash, the more problems, creaks and rattles when you try to put the damn thing back together again

If you send out the Bose to be restored, you can skip all this aggravation
