Almost right. Go with width first. Better to have a shoe too long BUT wide enough vs shoe long enough BUT not wide enough.

I wear Kswiss shoes, or my steal toe boots 🥾... I still enjoy riding my gravel bike being broke.

Yeah. Its like the traditional way... wearing shoes and trying to insert one finger at the hill inside the shoe

This isn’t a one size fits all guide, I have to go with bigger shoes because of the width of my feet. I go by width first
