Space Family Robinson : Model of Space Station One

This was a wonderful video. Your model is quite a good use of resources and imagination. Space Family Robinson on Space Station One was one of the few comic books I read. I loved the fact that they included a fact page with how some of the station's systems worked. One of them dealt with the futuristic galley, laundry, and so on. The galley had what is now a convection microwave oven, with a laser, for cooking a roast. Some had a full set of diamentions and design of the station and detailed explanations with illustrations of the space mobile docking bay. I always wanted to make a model of Space Station One. Great work and best of luck in your future endeavours.

Wonderful attention to detail and accuracy given that you had to make and find the parts yourself. Yes it would have made a wonderful model kit and maybe a kid's animated adventure series for Television.

The video channel website Netflix has done a Ten episode reboot series of Lost in Space It is suppose to be based on the 1960's TV show but the series Trailers on youtube looks more like it's fashioned after the 1990's theatrical movies instead with the ship looking more like the Star Wars Millennium Falcon instead of the iconic TV show saucer.
I DONT remember at all the comic book story though I did collect them back in the day.
I don't remember how they are the only family on a huge space station where are the rest of the crew to even maintain a huge ship like that is what I always wondered.

Impressive junk build. The artists weren't 100% consistent about the relative dimensions of the station in the comic, I wouldn't worry about the towers being too narrow if i were you.

4:30 My memory's hazy but I thought the spacemobile hangers went all the way through the tower structure. You generally only see the hatches on the outer side and when they launch it's always outward, away from the station. It doesn't look like there's enough room for two turntables inside the structure, so it would make sense for the inner hatches to be the normal "landing doors" so that the spacemobiles wind up facing nose out and ready for launch through the other set of hatches later on.

How about recreating the Space 1999 Moonbase Alpha base diorama
Space 1999 is a favorite show of many people and the diorama was very cool even though it was just buildings and a tube ??? subway? transport system and launch pads OR you can recreate the interior of the beautiful season one Moonbase Alpha Main Mission Control room perhaps?
You should have all these videos posted on a Facebook page if not already for more people to enjoy. :)
