fsck would run for about 30 minutes then it returned code 9, run out of memory. I increased my swap partition and it's been going for 16 hours now. Hopefully it didn't delete any data when it ran out of memory.

Hello my friend. I can't boot kali linux. I am getting , ,Fsck died with exit status 8. failed code (8)'' . When I type fsck -f /dev/sda2 don't help. It helped before.I think my UUID might have changed. Maybe i should type, ,sudo blkid'' . But where??! Please help.

I get this:
sudo fsck -a
fsck from util-linux 2.37.2
/dev/sda5 is mounted.
e2fsck: Cannot continue, aborting.

Any suggestions?

I have problem please help
so when I type that command 2:52 and run it shows me the same "fsck from util..." and thats it and I don't know what else to type to get that update screen on 2:55

/dev/sda1 is mounted.
e2fsck: Cannot continue, aborting.

Why is it aborting?
Whats wrong with mounting?
How to fix it?
I have spent two hours with this shit and I can not perform a simple scandisc.
Even after watching many videos on it.
Every distro is different.
Why the fuck they make this so complicated?
I hate Linux.
