Ove Thorkildsen from Norway has constructed and buildt this engine. No moving parts, just as the German V1 bombs from World War 2.
Engine runs on jet fuel and is started by compressed air and fuel blown in to the intake, then ignited by a small sparkplug. As soon as the engine starts i has to get in to the air for avoid overheating.
Aircraft is a Crusader model. For takeoff the aircraft is placed in a radio controlled trolly.
This Aircraft is clocked to 340 km/h at Eggemoen in 1992

@theoneandonlykkyle Same construction as the engine used by the German V1 bomb used to bomb London under 2nd world war. No moving parts, only reedvalves and jetfuel selfdetonating in a chamber.

Doesn't sound d any louder than a medium-size flow engine...
