What i learn in this module is the front office is the nerve center of a hotel, they are the ones that will welcome a guest and entertain them. And i also learned about this video the importance and knowledgeable of each department of a hotel that they must be aware of their task

To how they are responsible to give best security and safety precautions to the hotel and to the guests. , night audit, loss prevention/security department what I love in this module is the importance of reservation, security/loss prevention officer and the night audit officers because aside from Front office and Housekeeping they also play significant for the orderliness operation of the hotel for example the reservation officers and night audit act or input wrong data and action it will affect the overall performance of room division department.That why room division director must know how to handle it and resolve it immediately to avoid damages and failure.Each department must have great intact to each other.Work as a team is great😊

I learned this lesson video In our subject ELEC1 Module 1.3 It's all about the main function of rooms division department and their responsibilities or roles in the hotel.
-Front desk responsible for welcoming the guest and is a visible department and called nerve centre of the hotel.
- Housekeeping responsible for maintaining and cleaning the room and considered a VITAL PART of room division
- Reservation first contact for the guest and giving information.
-Night audit responsible for report, record, envistigate or input or output of charges
- Security responsible for secured the Working environment and also the lost prevention. So this different room division department is very important in the hotel or hotel industry.

In this module i've learned how the room division is more important to know. Because it is a nerve center of the the hotel operation. That why it is important in every department function inside the hotel. In this module I understand the different importance of each department... and by room division every responsibilities is separate in their owned job.

In this video, I learned the functions of different room division dept. such as:
Front desk- it is the center nerve and the front housing. This is where you meet the front associates that will help you in check in procedures.
House keeping dept.- involves in maintaining and cleaning the guest room.
Reservation- the first contact. They make the guest reservation and requests.
Night audit- act as front desk agent, they check the reservations, transactions of the day and etc.
Room division director- held resposible.
Hence, I learned how to make the guest feel secured and how the reservation works.

I learned in this module 1.3 ang front office ang unang nakakameet sa mga guest bukod pa sa mga security ang front office din ang pinaka center ng hotel
Houkeeping din ang may pinaka malaking department sa isang hotel sila din nag papanatili na malinis ang isang room or guest room para maging comfortable si guest once na mag check in and housekeeping din ang mag checheck kapag mag checheck out na si guest pag once na nacheck na itatawag ni housekeeper kay guest para makapag check out procedure na si guest. Ang houskeeping at front office din ay palaging mag kasama
Reservation din ang pinaka first contact ng guest once na nsg ps reserve siya para sa isang event or etc.
Night auditor yung gagawa ng task at mag aaudit siya rin ang palaging mag uupdate kung may mga sira or may dipa naayos or kapag marmi pa ang isang room siya rin yung nag close ng mga cash
Lost prevention kelangan mamaintanince na laging safe si guest at yung safety ng hotel employee and hotel industry
Si room division director din ang responsible na kailangan gampanan ni room division laht din ng lugar sa hotel is kelangn alam ni room division director.
Sa reservation department sila din yung first contact ng guest para mag pa reserve CRS type of a system na nag memaintain ng room reservation.
Confirmed reservation is conputerize at kelangan naka indiquate kung ilan at anong type ng bed, oras ng dating at iba pang important detail kelangan sure din once na nag pa reseve ang isang guest .

The rooms division was consist of different divisions. There are, 'front office, reservations, housekeeping, concierge, guest services, security and communication'. The five (5) division department is different in work but still united in every dept. It also helps us to understand and give some ideas and knowledge in a hotel industry in our future.

The different function of rooms division. First, front office department nerve center of a hotel, most visible department in a hotel. Second, housekeeping department most responsible for cleanliness basically speaking housekeeping department which involve to maintaining and cleaning guest room. Third, the reservations are the first contact for the guest making the reservation for the guest and the next one is Night audit it completly controlls the transaction of the day. And the very important department of a hotel industry is Loss prevention/Security department for the safety and security of hotel guests and employees.

In this lesson I've learned the importance of Room divions and also the function.
Every room and also the employee's ay may kanya-kanyang task to maintain the quality services. So andito rin yung sinasabing information ng hotel which is yung mga reports kailangan yun ng back-up just incase system error may roon tayong babalikan. Guest is the most important to meet his/her expectation services and also safety from check in to depature.

1. Front office and Housekeeping should always united or combining, and housekeeping is maintaining cleanliness in the hotel
2. Reservation - is the first contact of the Guest
- reservation for the guest

3. Night audit - first night auditor and she do all task at nightshift, and the night audit is very important to us to determined.

3. Loss prevention/security department - dito nakapaloob ang prevention when it comes the accidents and they also priority yung security at kaligtasan ng mga employees
4. Reservation - meron ding head person ang reservation ito ay ang tinatwag na “reservation manager” and siya din yung first contact ng guest for reservatin of the guest.
5.Global Distribution System - this is world wide network system between the travel bookers and suppliers and computerize network system
6.Central Reservation System- it is the type od system design for thise

-CRS is also a software that maintain a hotel room availability, yung mga rates ng kwarto, guest information, payment processing and hotel information
8. Properly Management System- software application for operation of hospitality accomodations and commercial resedencial properties. Nakapaloob dito ang lahat ng operation and information na may kinalaman sa hospitality accomodation or sa lodging establishment.
9. GDS, CRS, RMS, PMS - ito yung mga tinatwag na sequence and Relationship of the Hotel Guest Reservation, sinasabi dto na ang reswrvation ni Guest ay marming pinangdadaanan na system or na process
10. Sa teservation department kailangn natin yung mga employess telcommunication and telemarketing skills from yhe moment na nagtatanont ang guest.
11. Confirmed reservation- generated by the computer, we have to indicate the confirmation number and the date of arrival/departure and kung ilan sila at ang iba pang special request.
12. Guaranted Reaeevation- “ Sure” kainaman sa guaranted ay ang pupwede siya g mag cancel ng reservation.
13. Security Loss Prevention- responsible in maintaining security alarm and security prevention is to provide guest protection and loss prevention.
Comprehensive Security Plan- Ang kailangan gumawa ng ganito ay ang mga security officers.

In this video I understand that the front office should be knowledgeable so that when the guest inquires or asks questions, they can be answered properly and you can get him to check in at the hotel. You should also coordinate with other departments to avoid accidents overall. all employees will work. Properly adapts to the protocol of an organization.

In ELEC-1 module 1.2 and 1.3. They discuss the different types of Room Division which mean the Nerve of hotel or Heart of hotel. I learned about this video the importantace and knowledgeable of each Department of a Hotel. You must to know for the safest, and to be aware to your task. Like frontdesk mostly the first and last impression of guest that need to always smile with a good heart, housekeeping must maintain the cleanliness of every part of hotel, reservation you must need to focus on upcoming call for reservations like mail or fax, Concierge ability to deal with diplomacy and the last The security and safety to secured the guest and employee.

Front office is the most visible in the office and it is the first and last impression. Housekeeping it is the most responsible for the cleanliness, appearance in the entire hotel. Front office and housekeeping they should never break they shoulf never be divided. Night auditor siya yung nag iimbistigahan niya din yung lahat ng mga errors sa report. Loss prevention / security department sinisiguridad niya yung safe and security ng mga employee at ang mga guest at pati na rin ang establishment.

I’ve learned the different room division department and its function. First, is the front office the most visible department in a hotel and greet and welcome the guest as they enter in the establishment and answer their inquiries. Housekeeping is the largest department and responsible in cleaning the rooms and prepare rooms. Reservations can either be room reservations for a certain event. Night audit is the mandatory area where all the hotel guests transaction and the night auditor will make a report from the previous day shift if there are charges need to be posted and if all the transactions within the hotel is balance. Loss prevention and security department maintains the security protocol strong and to make the guests feel secured while on their stay. There are two kinds of reservation and these are confirmed meaning it is being generated by the computer consisting the date of arrival and departure and type of room and the otherhand is guaranteed meaning the guest would more likely to cancel. There are different systems in reservations and those are global distribution system, central reservation system, rooms management system and property management system. Identification procedure when a person works in a certain company it’s a must to have a valid id na naglalaman ng information nila name and address to all of the employees.

In module 1.3 i learn the different functions of different rooms division department such as Front desk, Housekeeping, Reservations, night audit amd security.
Front office is the most visible department of a hotel because they have more contact to the guest. Housekeeping is the one who is responsible for the cleanliness, appearance and condition of the hotel. I also learn the different responsibility of room division director such as Financial Responsibility for rooms division. Night Auditors Act as front desk agent, they are the one who balance the reports. In Reservation i encounter different systems that is important in hospitality industry such as GDS, CRS and so on. Lastly Loss prevention or Security Department is the one who is responsible to maintain security protocols strong, prevention of accidents and etc to make the guest be ensure that they are safe while they are staying in a hotel.

I learned this lesson is all about the Main Functions of Room Division Department,
Room Division is the Nerve Centre for all hotel operations and also responsible for the main hotel product which is the guest room.
The Front Office Department are responsible for welcoming, greeting the guest and make reservations, Housekeeping Department responsible para sa mga pangangailanagan, at gusto ng guest for satisfaction and enjoyment while they stay at the hotel ..
