17 years later, I went back, alone.

Most epic solo trip ever. Very beautiful and safe city. I would recommend that you look up a very basic Roman history before you go will give you more of an appreciation of this wonderful city.

I've been to Rome twice and enjoyed it very much. The first time was in 1997 and again in 2001. The only thing in this video I don't recall seeing was Galleria Borghese. Seeing Michaelangelo's Pieta and the Sistine Chapel is certainly memorable. The Spanish Steps are beautiful when adorned with flowers.

Hi, I’m a guy from Rome, I recommend also Piazzale Socrate and Via Nicolò Piccolomini if you want to see the sunrise above Rome, and if you want to see the sunset go to Casina delle Muse or Terrazza del Pincio
