Why did Ymir decide to follow Reiner and Berthold?

She only saved Reiner and Berturtle lives with her actions, not the scouts.
I love attack on titan but I think a couple things happened just so the story would be more exiting. if Yimir came back with the scouts she could simply tell almost everything that the scouts would learn in the basement. Getting to the basement was the main goal of the story at that point.

That's why she had to do it and why it makes no sense. "She wants Historia to be safe".. That gets seriously endangered by her leaving and saving two enemy titan shifters who gathered a lot of knowledge about the situation inside the walls, they even knew now that Eren is the founder titan!! She just gave three titans to Marley and very important knowledge! Right after she realizes that there is a future within the walls??

Actually, she might have been able to ensure that Reiner and Bertold got eaten by the titans that were attacking them. The scouts could have gone home with the new colossal and armored titan shifters and Yimir. The new shifters could also tell their story, maybe one of them would actually know about Grisha Yaeger even, or worship Yimir. Would be very cool.
Imagine how easy it would be to overthrow the government with those four titans..

Nonsense, if she took down Berthold and Reiner, they could take down the beast titan with less sacrifice. Rumbling could have been prevented. If Ymir captured Historia to go Marley like she wanted, Historia would probably go tru hell. Her actions didn't help Paradise island much. Ymir could even tell them about the powers of beast titan with the boy's memories.
I'd rather say the real Ymir controlled her to lead to the rumbling..

I can't understand why writer chose to add lesbian traits in Historia but later chose a farmer to marry. Paradi has bisexual queen.😂
