Americans on both sides of the political aisle are entertaining the theory that our country is evil for some of our previous actions. Here’s why this theory isn’t logical.

“If you’re conservative you should be skeptical of government power.” Proceeds to straw man and call someone criticizing government power radical. This is a strange tone for this show.

Why don't you debate him and find out?

Of course you would feel this way. You and Lindsey Graham skip through DC giggling about the death of your enemies.

Interesting to see someone who claims to be so religious just openly talk about killing like it’s nothing.

If Ben debated Tucker, Tucker would make him look like one of the college kids Ben got famous talking to.

I used to like Ben, but I finally seen he is more obsessed with supporting the war machine, than he is with domestic issues.

True conservatives are with Tucker, not the Israeli Wire

Ben is spinning this too far. Tucker's perception and reasoning have surpassed his comfortable understanding of the world and he doesn't like it.

I get what you're saying Ben, but evil is evil no matter how good the reason and justification is or how bad the alternatives are. So technically Tucker is not wrong. Like you always say, two things can be true at once. We still need to call the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as what it was, which was an evil act. This is coming from a Korean-American that benefited from the bombings on Japan.

I can see it from both angles Ben, it is inherently evil to kill millions of civilians by dropping atomic bombs, but to say it was the lesser of two evils, it's an extremely complex conversation, either way would have been horrific

The more Tucker speaks, the less we seem to have in common

“First, the Japanese were ready to surrender, and it wasn’t necessary to hit them with that awful thing. Second, I hated to see our country be the first to use such a weapon.” - President Dwight Eisenhower.

Tucker is correct, people dying from nuclear weapons is evil in an absolute sense. But when discussing the nukes dropped within the context of WWII, I find it hard to believe that things would have turned out better without them.

I just have to say, as a Kurd from Iran but now Aussie, the west is so far from reality. We have it so good we don’t understand the horrors of the Middle East or other regions. Why do we assume we all share the same common goals or morals.
War is life for a lot of people. War is hell, war is not something people want but it is inevitable, we have never had peace.

War = defeat your enemy while protecting your people including soldiers and anyone helping the war effort

Tucker has a traditionally Christian view which is something you would never understand.
