How To Open Terminal On Steam Deck

Learn how to open the terminal on Steam Deck.
Steam Deck is designed to be a complete Steam gaming experience out of the box – players can browse, download and play games from Steam, text or voice-chat their friends with Steam Chat, get game and system updates, adjust Steam Deck settings, and more all within the default Deck user experience.

The terminal is the Command Prompt of the Steam Deck. Here, you can run commands that will be used in the Steam Deck. It's just similar to the command prompt on computers. To launch the terminal, you have to switch to desktop mode on your Steam Deck.

How To Open Terminal On Steam Deck
Turn on Steam Deck
Switch to desktop mode
Click on the Application launcher icon on the taskbar
Click on System, then select Konsole
Type in the commands you'd like on the terminal.

In some cases, i'm able to just press X to pop up the keyboard.
Then if you press the small button with 3 horizontal lines above the X button, it allows you to switch between the top screen or bottom screen for the keyboard.

Is this where game console commands are entered? E.g. activating flying mode in Fallout 4 or whatever
