Tip from a dog groomer, get a better nozzle on that HV dryer, either a funnel shape or a rectangle shape, and use it on him when the conditioner is still on. Work the hair in a downward motion & if youve done a good enough lather with the conditioner it should do about half of the brushwork for you! I recommend doing this BEFORE shampooing the first time, just wear a mask to protect your lungs from all the dander. Then shampoo as normal and condition a 2nd time afterwards. Side note this is pretty messy so wear clothes you don't care about.

I’m a professional dog groomer and every chow chow I’ve worked with has hated grooming 😂 I love seeing how sweet Chopper is. That coat is high maintenance! If you put a cone nozzle attachment onto the dryer, that will help dry him faster and blow out some undercoat!

I've had a Chow before ❤ His name was Chubby, and this video made me remember all the nightmare that it was bathing and grooming him. Now I have a pinscher and... It's only better because it's a smaller dog and way less fur, but the attitude it's the same or even worse hahaha
