What is the I Ching (Yijing) Book of Changes?

Over the millennia, beginning with King Wen and his son the Duke of Zhou around 1046 BC, poetic prophetic lines of text are ascribed to the 64 hexagrams that the binary code is set in, lines steeped in cultural and historical references. Five centuries later, Confucius (or scholars attributing their writings to Confucius) add commentaries that describe, pictorialize, and interpret the hexagrams.

In 10 minutes (-ish), we’ll introduce the framework of the I Ching and its metaphysical underpinnings.

Wow. There is an incredible amount of information packed into those 10 minutes. Need to review it all slowly to better digest it. Some years ago I managed to came to understand the inter-relation of the 8 trigrams and 64 hexagrams to the I Ching. Surprisingly it seemed very simplistic compared to how I previously viewed it as being really complex. I liked this simplicity very much but seem to have lost its simple nature that I had previously developed. Need to actively apply it. Look forward to the release of your book as this may catalyse me into exploring it much more deeply - regain that simple perspective.

The I-Ching was my very first system of divination that I encountered personally.
I absolutely fell in love with both the concept of the I-Ching, and divination..
Now, decades later, it is still my Go To system for confirmation in other systems which I use.
Tarot, Runes, Astrology, Oracle decks, Yggdrasil, Numerology/Gematria, and to a much lesser degree, Scrying/Remote Viewing(which I am just seriously getting into after years of curiosity).
Ingo Swann's book from years ago, Star Fire, actually set me on my course in life.
There is always, always more to learn about the I-Ching and its relationship to our invisible world that affects our visible world so much...
