The 64 hexagrams of the I-Ching represent 64 life advice. They are made by two separate eight trigrams. While eight trigrams tell us about the earth's environment, these hexagrams are all about human activities. Each line of the hexagram is each stage of one particular situation. Instead of studying them one by one, there are three tricky ways to learn these 64 hexagrams. Let's discuss some important features about the hexagram and find out what the first trick is.

Isn't 挂 the Chinese for "hanging" and 卦 the Chinese for "divinatory hexagram"? They are two different characters with a different meaning. Did you mean that the name/pronunciation for 卦 originally derives from the term "to hang"? Thank you in advance for your clarification.

Hmm this system seems based on a binary system which is mathematically based on 1s and 0s. Rather than logic gate system which is based on a trinary system of and or or not gates. Yes no, rather than, and, or, not. Actually, maybe I'm jumping ahead of myself, maybe this encorporates both approaches. The ying yang is the binary part, the three lines represent the and or or not gates? Lol I dunno let's find out where this goes
