his recent performances all share the same characteristcs, that he has the big picture and his memory serves him well, but he loses the nuances, finesse, and power of an artist at his prime. It's either his health or shying away from stringent finger practices. I think for a pianist in his mid-sixties, we expect more from the Master. He has never been the same after he stepped back on stage post-Thailand incident, it must have traumatized him a lot.
