I genuinely dont understand how someone who is going through something like a transition, also going through a messy divorce, has a 4yr old kid, no job, contemplating bankruptcy, moving across the country and SOMEHOW has time to be getting into a new relationship? Like priorities. Take time to be alone.

Probably going to catch hate for this - this is not an adult that should have 50/50 custody of a child. Made the 4 year old sleep on the couch of a stranger because of homelessness, refuses to get a job, actively waiting for mommy to die to get an inheritance, etc. And actively abusing the good hearted nature of the current partner doesn't seem like someone that suffered as explained. We already know there is zero accountability being taken for the finances, it seems like that is probably a theme.

I think the worst part about this wasnt even the debt. It was the taking advantage of the new partner, falling back on mom and grandma, giving up because "Oh well I'll get a $250, 000 inheritance". Overall super gross and irresponsible I've been bad with money in the past but no way I'd just give up that easily.
